Should USPS Zip Code 91101 be reassigned from Pasadena, Calif. to 'Ground Zero' in NYC? I discovered that zip code 91101 is the central post office of Pasadena, California. I got nothing against the place, I used to live nearby before zip codes were invented. I know that 91 zip codes are for the greater Los Angeles area. But 91101 is a unique number, a sacred zip code if you please and it should be reassigned to 'Ground Zero' in New York City where the prevailing zip codes are 01.

Why can there be one Zip Code for two areas? The zip code for where I live, according to addresses in the area and the USPS zip code finder thing, works for two alternate names of the exact same area. I could give my address as being in either of two cities. Why is this? Is there a preferable one to use? (I like the one that I haven't been using better). I realize I phrased this kind of retardedly. Here is the thing: the address that i use is in City A with ZipCode A. Some of my neighbors use this and others use City B with ZipCode A. They seem interchangeable and mail arrives to all of us, regardless of which city is written on our mail.

USPS Delivery Confirmation shows wrong Zip Code? I sent an application to a potential employer two weeks ago via Priority Mail w/ DC. I didn't want to have them worry about signing for it, or I would have used certified. I have the receipt and it says the correct Zip Code and city on it. USPS Unable to Locate Address? The USPS zip code lookup is unable to locate the address I have entered, even though I've double-checked on Google Maps, which has successfully identified the address, hence, it is valid. I would like to order items online to be shipped to the address in question and unless this problem is resolved, I will be unable to do so. I've emailed USPS using their online email tool and received an inquiry id, however, it has already been over 3 days and I've received no feedback from them. Hi a letter was sent to me using royal mail with track and trace but it was sent to the wrong country it is not suppose to go to the ALaska USA.It was suppose to go to New Zealand. My deposit check to the title company for my house was sent to the wrong place by USPS! Will we close late? We JUST went into contract on the 29th, my BF mailed out deposit check to the title company certified mail that afternoon (we have 3 days). Where (and more importantly what) is Hell? I was doing research on zip codes, and cross checking with yahoo maps. I ran into Hell, Michigan, over by Gregory and Pinckey. It doesn't appear to have a USPS zip code. Is this unincorporated territory? A part of some other town (like Pinckey)? A neighborhood? Or what? I plugged in an address into Google Maps, and got Pinckey. Just to confuse, the hand is often use for an ad hoc map of lower Michigan with the fingers pointing up. But Pinckey isn't anywhere near the fingers. It's firmly in the palm. If Michigan had a place called "tongue", i'm sure it would be in a town or at least county called "cheek", geographically speaking. Very funny guys. USPS shipping question? Hi guys, i made a purchase of ebay recently, the sellers shipping method was stated as Expedited Flat Rate Shipping Service, i got a e-mail with confirmation number stating it had left the facility on the 20th, which was friday, i didn recieve the item on saturday so im hoping i will recieve it on monday, i checked the USPS website, i input the zip codes and box size, and it said the shipping time was 2 days, so im asking, is it always 2 days or is that just an estimate? because the other shipping times were listed as 6 days, and im pretty sure its not going to take 6 days because the ebay sellers feedback all says FAST SHIPPING. So anyone have any experience with this?

I put the wrong Zip Code on my order will I still get my package? I put the wrong zip code accidentally on my order but have my name, address, city & state on it just the Zip code is wrong. Ebay Buyer fraud through Paypal. Item paid, item shipped and then paypal reversed the payment? Item sold on ebay. Buyer pays with paypal. I shipped the item to paypal confirmed address. 3 days later paypal put hold on funds and started investigation (Fraud credit card used?). Buyer receives item. Paypal reversed money. Buyer doesn't reply. I sent via USPS insured. return signature received. Items was delivered to a different addresses then actually where I sent. (Forwarding address?). In my return receipt I don't have full address I only have city, state and zip code. Item was shipped to Brown Deer, WI 53223, it was delivered to Matteson, IL 60443. USPS doesn't give me complete address of delivery. What should I do? If I file complaint with IC3 and local police would they help solve this. Does anyone has experience in situation like this? What are the chances my package will arrive with wrong address? Ok some company I ordered from who happens to outsource their call center to india somewhere, where people DONT undersatnd english very well. My address is 115th Ave NE and the City is Bellevue. This person put down 10015th Ave and City as Delledua but has the correct Zip code. and everything else correct. It was sent via US Post office. Track and confirm on USPS.com says it has been delivered and registered in [city/state/ZIP code] last saturday AM. It seems to me they mean it reached the USPS office, but not yet the receiver. How long does a USPS office usually keep a package/bound printed matter before it is delivered to the receiver? When may I expect the track and confirm information "Your package has been delivered by the United States Postal Service" ? Can I expect it at all? What are your experiences with USPS delivery? USPS says that the package was delivered, but I never got it!? I've always had USPS deliver mail to me and when the boxes are too-large, they leave it in the front-yard. I purchased a $40 item on Tuesday, and the seller promptly shipped it on Wednesday. When I checked from my office on Friday, it says "Delivered on Friday, Feb 1" in my city and zip-code. I was so excited that I drove home during lunch -- no package...I looked all around the house, under all the shrubs, trees, etc. and also outside my garage to no avail. I drove around the neighborhood and did not find it. Also asked my neighbors to see if they got it. Nope. I thought maybe the driver forgot and will deliver it on Saturday. Nope. Nothing came on Saturday. When I went to the post-office on Saturday afternoon and explained the problem to the USPS employee, he looks at me and goes "Okay? According to our records it has been delivered sir." To which I said, "I am not lying, I did NOT get the package. What do I do" and he hands me a post it and says "Put your phone number on it." and to which I said, "You don't even have my address and my details, how are you going to track it?" He goes, "yes, please put that too." And when I was leaving, he sticks the post-it to his monitor....and I am sure that it will not be looked into considering the attitude of the idiot. After I got home, I called the 1800 number for USPS and they started a ticket. they said they will contact the post master and have this looked into. But I am afraid that my $40 have gone wasted...
EBAY USPS postal service deliberately hiding Media Mail rates? I have been trying for hours to find on the stupid USpostal service's own website media mail rates, and everytime i try to enter the zip codes etc.. the sheisty bastards hide the media mail rates as if they dont exist! Anyone know where I cam get them so I dont have to wait till Monday? Ebay also is equally shady in reguards to media mail rates it seems !
