If i am shipping to an APO do I have to pay international shipping rates? I am shipping a product that I sold on eBay, but the person that bought it is at Camp Liberty, Iraq APO AE 09342, does that mean i have to pay full international rates for shipping through USPS(united states postal service), or do I pay Domestic Flat rate which is like $10.50 compared to international flat rate which is $45.50, so basically which one, international to Iraq or Domestic flat rate.

I had 2 winning bidders from Europe who paid for USPS Intl flat rate boxes When I go to print their labels in paypal, there is no option for this service and the fees are over $25 when my bidders paid for a flat fee. Why can't I print USPS International 1st Class from eBay? I have lots of buyers from Canada and I am able to give them quotes for USPS International 1st class mailing (which is usually much cheaper) but when I go to print the label, 1st class isn't available. He provided me with a USPS tracking number on the (13/09) and stated my parcels was on the way. Price for Registered Mail USPS International Packages? I'm a seller on E-bay, and I want to have full protection by E-bay if my international buyers claim their item didn't arrive. If I send an item USPS "Registered Mail" does this mean the buyer must sign that they received the package? Is it a flat rate price, or is it calculated for each individual package? I won an auction on eBay it's a PSP 2001 slim silver the date that i won the auction was around 13 or 14, I paid instantly it was to be shipped from California and to be shipped to Saudi Arabia at the Saudia airlines PO box of my dad, don't mistake me i'm not an Arab. The estimated delivery time is July 25 to 29 but over here in Jeddah postal offices are closed during Thursdays and Fridays my dad said nothing has arrived yet. USPS US to UK delivery: What is likely to have happened to my parcel? Ordered it on the 30th, it was posted on the 31st and now it's 11th and no parcel. The person I ordered it from said they don't do refunds even if the item isn't delivered. It was USPS international small flat box rate. Detailed Results: International Dispatch, December 23, 2010, 12:29 am, ISC LOS ANGELES CA (USPS) Arrival Electronic Shipping Info Received, December 20, 2010 Now doesn't that look funny? it seems to appear as if my package left the United States (In a rather fast manner) I'd say they used a rocket ship. Which would explain how it ended up in a black hole. Theres been no tracking updates since December 23rd and I contacted both Canada Post and USPS. Canada Post told me that they were notified on December 23rd by USPS to expect a package; but haven't yet. I contacted the merchant who then contacted USPS and was told that they had to wait 30 days after shipping to open a "Trace" on the package. I contacted USPS today and they told me to contact the merchant (which I had already done) and that they merchant could open a "Trace" on the package 7 days after shipping. So where did my package go when it (supposedly) left the United States? did the mail truck break down or crash on the way to driving it to Canada Customs and somewhere that poor post man is rotting in a ditch in a smoldering pile of twisted steel... with my package? Did he try to clamber from the wreckage to deliver my goods until his last breath but collapsed somewhere on a road side? or was he torn limb from limb by rabid wolves and now my package is waiting somewhere in a wolfs den near the border crossing. I think not. Someone help me out? Heres how my logic sees this problem. If my item left the United States 11 days ago (December 23rd) and hasn't entered customs and hasn't even been received by Canada Post then where the hell is it? The only answer I can conclude is that it was lost or stolen.

Where can I find out insurance rates for US postal services with letters to the UK? Each envelope would contain an item worth around the $30 mark, but as they would be going international I want them to be insured. I can find UPS rates, but not USPS rates for insurance. USPS Express international Problem? I am from Bangladesh. I purchased a Laptop on ebay worth 750 dollar. The seller is a USA top-rated seller with decent reputation. He shipped the product on 9th Sep by USPS Express Mail International. I paid 75 dollar for the express shipping. The shipping is insured and trackable. I tracked the product on 10 th Sep and USPS showed that ""Your item was processed through our ISC SAN FRANCISCO (USPS) facility on September 09, 2011 at 3:47 pm. The item is currently in transit to the destination"". I have not received my product yet. Still now when i track the item online it shows the same mentioned above. I contacted with the seller, he told me that he has contacted with USPS but the investigation will take 6 to 15 days. I asked the seller why are you taking this long time? He replied that USPS runs that way. It is not possible for me or the seller to speed up the investigation process by USPS, and USPS will run the way they do irrespective of whatever we do to speed up the process. I have talked with my other friends who purchased from ebay with USPS express int and they received the item with 12 days. What should i do now? I have decided that i will ask for refund or file a dispute on 20th October, bcz there is a 45 days timeframe to file a case in ebay. Any suggestion?
Ebay seller says USPS tracks only within US, not Internationally? This question is a continuation to my previous one saying that an ebay seller says tracking information is "not available" with international USPS First Class and Priority Flat Rate Service. I sent him a message asking him, how come? He says that USPS First Class and Priority Flat Rate Service only offer tracking information within the US and not internationally. Is this true? USPS First Class to New Zealand? I have had a couple packages sent from USPS around the 20th of June by different people, however none of them have arrived. I also received a package this morning which was shipped USPS Priority International Flat Rate, which was shipped only on the 26th of June. In my experience, there usually isn't that much difference in delivery time between the two, and they both usually arrive around 7-8 days, so is there some kind of reason why First Class could be taking this long? I'm starting to get a bit worried. I called my post office here in New Zealand, but they just tell me they can't check anything because First Class doesn't have proper tracking...

Noticed that we (sometimes) buy affordable items for our business from Asia, and those companies are able offer free shipping of their merchandise. Parcels arrive in EMS packaging. When we ship via USPS to other countries, if not using International Express USPS flat-rate packages, shipping costs can be quite high. There must be a more affordable way to ship larger boxes. Can I legally send a set of diving equipment as a Christmas present to Singapore through USPS Int'l Postal? I am in the US and I intend to send a set of Buoyancy Control Device, a set of backplate system and a set of buoyancy wings to my friend in Singapore as a Christmas present through USPS international postal service. However when I checked out USPS website, they had this fine print that states, "*GXG, Priority Mail International Flat-Rate Envelope and Small Flat-Rate Box, and First-Class Mail International are not available for items requiring an Export License under U.S. Law." It seems to me that diving equipment are in the controlled items list under US laws. 1. My question is that would this regulation apply to my situation? (Since I'm only just sending 1 set of each diving equipment here as a Christmas gift and I'm not exporting/sending multiple identical items.) 2. I have a question about USPS Priority International shipping? Hi, So I brought a package (Large Flat Rate Box) to the Post Office December 8th, and had it shipped to England from here in New York, for about $53.00. Anyway, supposedly it should take 6-10 days for a package to get to it's destination (Priority). It's now the 19th of December and the person I sent the package to still hasn't gotten anything. Since no actual tracking information is available, they just give you a "Delivery Confirmation" number. So I called the USPS today, used the "Tracking Number" and apparently there is no record of the package, yet. Right now I'm concerned: Is it too early for me to be trying to obtain information? Should I be worried that my package isn't going to get there or time for Christmas? Or is it just lost somewhere? Any information or input would be greatly appreciated! Thank you. -Tara

Can you print a label on USPS.com for APO addresses? I know you can send the package to Iraq for the same price as shipping domestically if it is sent to an APO address but when I try to purchase a label online it just gives me the regular international rate of $49 something or other. Priority mail international flat rate envelopes...see question below? They don't offer tracking or delivery confirmation for priority mail flat rate international envelopes. I have my packages picked up by the carrier each day. They don't scan them to show that they were at least accepted. When I type in the tracking number, it says that electronic information was given to usps, but this doesn't mean that it was picked up. Some people say that their tracking number says "accepted" and that's it. I was wondering how this happens for them and not me. An idea I had is that if I take a flat rate priority mail envelope to the post office that they will update the tracking number as accepted and that's it. What are your thoughts on whether or not taking it in to the post office instead of letting the carrier pick it up will get it acknowledged as accepted? Please don't answer this question unless you know the answer from experience or from the postal service, not for points. Not trying to be mean, but there are a lot of people on here answering questions that they don't understand and/or haven't read.

So where did my package go when it (supposedly) left the United States? did the mail truck break down or crash on the way to driving it to Canada Customs and somewhere that poor post man is rotting in a ditch in a smoldering pile of twisted steel... with my package? Did he try to clamber from the wreckage to deliver my goods until his last breath but collapsed somewhere on a road side? or was he torn limb from limb by rabid wolves and now my package is waiting somewhere in a wolfs den near the border crossing. I think not. Someone help me out? Heres how my logic sees this problem. If my item left the United States 11 days ago (December 23rd) and hasn't entered customs and hasn't even been received by Canada Post then where the hell is it? The only answer I can conclude is that it was lost or stolen I meant the joke about my package disappearing into a black hole, I read someone else posted that online lol. Ebay shipping to France, won't print label OR even on USPS.COM won't? Hi everyone! I am trying to send a pair of jeans in a flat rate envelope to France. (i ship all over the country and have never had any problems but have never shipped to France) My problem is Paypal will not print the label. Everytime I try it tells me the site is experiencing problems but then I print a bunch of US or UK or Canada, variety of other countries and then come back the the France label it still won't go. I even printed a label from usps.com to ship via USPS Priority International and it prints the label but won't print the bar code. Any ideas or anyone else have these issues? USPS Small Flat Rate box too small for customs envelope? I sell things on eBay quite frequently, and I do get a lot of international buyers. I'm sick of having to run to the post office and pay for the international postage out of my pocket, so I figured I could try printing out the international postage through the PayPal system. I've always done that with domestic orders, but when I go to print out international postage, it says I need a specific customs form that is huuuge. I ordered that customs form (2976-A) and the envelope that comes with it (2976-E) from the USPS website. I also ordered 10 Small Flat Rate boxes. But the problem is, the envelope is bigger than the box itself! The envelope is around 1" longer on each side and the top and bottom of it. When I go to ship something internationally, I just have the little form with the green thing on the left of it that fits conveniently on the package, but when I want to print postage with PayPal, I have to use this big form. So here are my 2 questions: 1) How do I attach the customs envelope onto the Small Flat Rate box? Am I supposed to wrap it around the package somehow? 2) Do I HAVE to use this specific form when printing out international postage via PayPal, or can I use the little customs form? I'm assuming not because when I go to print out the international postage on PayPal, it has me fill out the customs form online, which I'm assuming is the same size as the 2976-A form. USPS tracking not updating? On Monday I sent out a package to the UK via USPS Priority Mail International and as of today the tracking status is still: Electronic Shipping Info Received. Is the package moving, or is it just sitting at the post office? I didn't use a flat rate box. I know that they don't have tracking updates for international shipments. Oh, and I paid and printed out my shipping label using PayPal if that is relevant information.

Is there any way I can track a package I sent to Spain using a Priority Mail International Flat Rate Envelope? I shipped a package to Spain on 2-25-08 and the buyer said have not received it yet. I have a customs decleration number, but when I enter it at USPS.com it just shows that the package was accepted. When I asked USPS about delivery confirmation they said they don't do it for international shipments since once it leaves the US. How do I stop a Priority International Flat Rate Envelop I mailed to Canada? When delivering a Flat Rate Priority Envelope shipped to Canada, the wrong Declarations Customs Form was put into the clear plastic window. Now the wrong person will get this item. I called the USPS and they stated that there is nothing they can do, it shows it was scanned in the sorting facility on 10/12/2010 and they have no tracking until it is delivered to (wrong person). i was ebay scammed by a china seller through paypal, can someone explain how i would make a lawsuit? ok, here is the deal. i was all like "i want a mp4 player that is off brand for only, what came to be, 41.90$" i got it and it would not use any videos and the quality was very poor and the headphones were even broken in one ear... so i contacted the seller, about 4 or 3 days after i received it, and told him or her that i need a refund. she said ok, so i waited a little because i had a lot of Business and stuff to carry out. i eventually shipped it out with usps flat rate box international, with a tracking number. after that, she said she was going on leave for 2-3 days and she would refund me when she came back. Is printing a shipping label from paypal for USPS cheaper than the flat rate at the post office? If I want to send a package using USPS is it cheaper to print the shipping label from paypal and stick it on the priority box I'm using? What about the pounds and ounces? In some countries it's 26.50 to send about less than 4 pounds. When I enter the amount of pounds in paypal and print the shipping label will it be the same cost? I heard it would cost much less doing it that way if you know the weight. I don't want to charge someone almost 30 dollars for shipping. This is international shipping by the way. Can I use the priority boxes and put the labels on and then just give it to the post office, no extra costs? Also, will the same rules apply with Domestic shipping? best way to ship international packages cheaply? I have a small buisness selling vintage clothing on ebay and I have been using usps for all my packages. However..since most of my customers are overseas, I try to make it as cheap as possible but I am getting stuck sometimes with disputes since shipping FIRST CLASS does not offer tracking or insruance or even confirmation of any sort. Senting priority mail is rather expensive and not worth losing business over. Shipping priority for even 1 item at 1 pound is 32 bucks! Does anyone know of a better method? Help with an eBay item sent overseas? I sold an item on eBay recently, and printed out a shipping label from PayPal. The item was sent August 12th, from West Virginia, USA, to Budapest, Hungary. Today, I received a message from the buyer claiming that she had not yet received the item. The item was sent via Priority Mail Flat Rate Envelope, and since it was international, cannot be tracked. All I have is a customs number from the forms. I tried calling the USPS 800number, and was told that an international flat rate envelope can't be tracked. Is it reasonable to say that since this package is traveling from the U.S. to Hungary it would take well over a week to arrive? And is there any way I can find it?

When I sent the invoice, I had a bunch of choices for shipping (I chose first class international in a thick envelope). Once she paid, I was preparing to print out the shipping label. It only gave me two options for shipping (express international and priority international)... Neither of them have a thick envelope as a choice. Shipping on an Ebay Item - Help!!!!? Ok, I was equally surprised that after one day, someone had already bought my item after posting it for just 1 day! This is my first EBay sell. Problem is, it's an international purchase. The client is located in Nigeria. So I went to the USPS website and they gave me a calculation of sending the package at the weight to Nigeria as $40.00, not bad. I did on the add list it as a 1-3 delivery but that was only in the US. So I think he'll understand that upping the delivery time to 6 - 10 days and waving his shipping cost would be understandable. Problem is, I put the item up as a calculated shipment depending on where you are in the US so it has a field that asks for the shipment rate. The price he paid for it included the shipping cost that I needed covered so do I just set the shipment field to $0.00 ?

I live in Canada. Is there any way to circumvent costly shipping fees? So, I'd like to buy a shirt from the Valve store. The cost is 19 bucks US for the shirt. The shipping is flat rate, 16 bucks. I understand why they do this. They have to use FedEx for every international order, even if it's just going over the boarder. This would be okay if I were buying bunch of stuff, but paying $16 for shipping a t-shirt seems a little crazy. Do I have any other options? Like what if I got some American to buy it, and then put it on eBay, with USPS as a shipping option?? Would I end up saving that much...and if so, how can I go about finding someone to do that. Any suggestions would be appreciated.
USPS Priority Mail International Flat Rate Envelope Require Form 2976-E (plastic)? I know that for Priority Mail international parcel require form 2976-E to put the 3 pages custom declaration. But for Priority Main international flat rate envelope, there's only 1 page. Can I use the 2976-E form instead just taping it on the outside? or I have to tape it on the outside? Thanks.
