If someone mailed me a letter to my old address and the postal office forwarded it to my new address, does the postal office also automatically notify the sender of my new address? In other words or simple terms, P.O. boxes and Private Mailboxes are growing concerns of the postal services used in order to single out P.O. boxes and PMB(private mailboxes) who have personal accounts instead of business accounts. We would like to have an address rather than using one of our own physical home address because you guys are aware of fans(groupies) can be a bit psychotic at times when bands are in the limelight destined for stardom. US Postal Service: Is my Mail Forwarding OK? - two addresses forwarded from...? I just moved to where I live. I at first thought I was going to live on one side of town, 4xxx2. It turned out not to have happened. I put the Mail Forwarding request in to this address from my old address in NY like 3 days before. After that, I found a location on the othe rside of town, 4xxx3. That also turned out to be a not-real situation. I filled out mail forwarding requests not only from NY address, but from the 4xxx2 address as well. The final chapter is I now officially live in 4xxx2, at a different location. No question about it this time. I re-submitted my Mail Forwarding requests, all at different branches, from the old 4xxx2 address and the 4xxx3 address to my new official address in 4xxx2. The Forwarding from the NY address still gets it to the original 4xxx2. I am expecting my last check in the Mail. It was placed in the mail in NY on Friday. I submitted my final round of forwarding requests to my new official address from the two new previous new addresses (after NY) yesterday. Should I be OK with the letter getting to my new address? Postal office forward my mail to another family!!? We just purchased and moved into this new house. But not a single piece of our mail has been sent to the house. After waiting for a couple of weeks, we finally figured out that the previous owner of the house had put a Transfer mail on this address, and the worst thing is he's got the same last name as we do. I went to the postal office and a guy there said there is nothing they can do. The previous owner had put a transfer for the whole family. And the postal office has some sort of automatic machine that sorts the mail according to the last name. The guy said a Transfer will last for over a year!!! Postal stuff to boats - how do you do it? It concerns the UK postal system : I live on a nice narrowboat, sometimes cruising the UK Inland Waterways system, sometimes remaining static for a while in nice places. So ... US Postal Nightmare. They deliver when they choose to. Is this legal? I just moved into a new home, new subdivision and have been a resident for over 30 days. The US Post Office picks up and delivers my personal mail as they please. All proper documentation was filled out for forwarding to the new address, etc. To date, I've gone 5 days with mail sitting in my box w-out pickup and over 3 weeks without delivery! not getting a renewed Drivers License 30 days after the Temporary? My License was stolen on Sept 6th. I applied for a new one on Sept 7th. It expires Oct 7th. I still have not gotten it yet. I told them to send it to the address that is on the license and not forward it. I went to the postal service and they said they did not forward it, and They told me it still probably at the place where they process the licenses. This in Montgomery Alabama. Will the USPA forward my mail from the DMV? I went to the DMV to get my title processed. It wasn't until that I told him I was soon moving, so would the title be forwarded to my new address (I thought it an obvious, "Oh, of course").
