How to scan a FedEx tracking number to Excel? Greetings All My question is how to scan a FedEx tracking to an Excel cell. We are trying to scan the FedEx tracking number but the number that appears in the cell is not the number scanned. Usually it ends with 13 0s on the end. Ideally I would like to scan the tracking number and have the tracking number appear without the remaining characters. Not sure of a equation to create in Excel to do this.

Does Fedex tracking update online instantly when the package is scanned? Mine hasn't updated since July 2nd. Estimated delivery date is tomorrow but usually when I order something from Fedex it scans in Fayetteville, NC the day before it gets delivered here in Wilmington, NC. Can someome tell me why FedEx online delivery tracking does this? I do alot of online shopping (mostly from Amazon) so I get quite a few deliveries a week, mostly from UPS. I am familiar with the online tracking option that UPS uses and I've found it to be accurate (as far as delivery estimation and places my orders have been prior to delivery). But recently I've ordered some merchandise off eBay and the seller uses FedEx to ship orders. I was given a tracking number and the FedEx website to check in on my order. I noticed that once the package gets to a certain point it stops giving any new information on the status of the package. For example the website will read basically: JULY 15th 6:46pm - July 14th - Left Origin 5:06pm - package data transmitted to FedEx 4:35pm - Arrived At FedEx Location 2:05pm - Picked Up JULY 22nd 12:05pm - Package Delivered There is quite a jump there. A week to be exact where the package doesn't even seem to be moving then BAM, it's on your doorstep. Why is it set up like this?

Is there a patch or something you can get that will pull the tracking number out of a fedex barcode? I bought a little cheap barcode scanner off of ebay. It's called a cuecat I think. It works perfect for UPS, USPS, and DHL, but Fedex barcodes have way more info in them than just the tracking number. I ship packages via many diiferent Fedex service levels (Ground, Next Day 8am, Next Day 10:30, 2 day, 3 day etc. I wanted to know if it is possible to know they type of service that the package was shipped solely based on the tracking #? Fedex tracking updates? I purchased a pair of shoes on eBay about a few days ago, and I received a tracking number so I went on Fedex's official tracking website and it updated for a couple of days. It has not updated since 9/13 and I was wondering if this is normal, since I am new to eBay as well as Fedex. FedEx Tracking Broken? i ordered a hoody thursday night (the 14th) on and friday morning i got a email saying my package was shipped and it gave me a tracking number. the warehouse is located in san diego california and i live in orange country since its the same state i decided to pick the 3 day shipping from FedEx (Express saver). The Estimated Delivery is Wed. the 20th...should it really take that long to deliver a package when san diego is only about 2 hours away from here? anyways i been checking the tracking and it hasn't updated since friday night... How long should FedEx tracking say 'Package data transmitted to FedEx'? I made an online order on Thursday, December 11. On the 12th, I tracked the item and it stated 'Package data transmitted to FedEx'. It is 2-day shipping. As of today (Dec. 15), it still says 'Package data transmitted to FedEx'. The item being shipped is very important. Does anyone know if I should be concerned and should contact FedEx? The expected delivery date it Dec. 16, so I figure I won't receive the package on time. How long should this status remain on the tracking?

Shipping FedEx through Kinkos - delivery time and tracking? I ordered something on eBay and it was shipped yesterday (3-31) via FedEx Kinkos. Online the tracking says "Mar 31, 2008 4:08 AM Package data transmitted to FedEx." It is being shipped from a city 4 hours away and the Delivery Date is today (April 1). I called FedEx this morning and the customer service agent told me pretty much what the web site said. From experience, will I get it today or was there a mistake?

Is there an algorithm to detect if a tracking number is a valid fedex tracking number or not ? I am looking for a mathematical procedure and not a manual one (like going to fedex.com :) )

Confused with Fedex tracking. Please take a look.? So for the past few days I have been a little frustrated with Fedex, apparently they have tried to deliver my package twice but no one was home. This however, is not true. I have been home all day on the days that I was expecting my delivery, they never showed up nor did they leave any sort of door tags. So I called them up yesterday asking them about this and they didn't know what was wrong. They were going to contact the driver but they didn't have his number. Also, I verified my address just to make sure they had it right, and they did. Anyway, my question involves my tracking status. Scheduled delivery is expected for the 5th, but it says it's out for delivery, but also says "Scheduled for delivery next business day." Is providing someone with a fake tracking number thru Fedex a federal crime? I bought something thru ebay. I havent received the item in 17 days. Paypal paid him and still no item. I opened a dispute, and this guy provides a tracking number, saying it had been sent. Well, Ive called Fedex everyday. That was 3 days ago. Its invalid. Is it a federal crime to give a fake number thru Fedex?

When does tracking info usually become available with fedex.com? I ordered an item off of sportsauthority.com and i just wanted to know when the tracking info usually becomes available on FedEx.com Right now it says it doesnt have any information on the package at this point in time.

i ordered a new phone thursday and i got the tracking number so i went to fedex.com ? i typed in the tracking number and it said "in transit" does that mean it is comeing if it does since today is sunday. does that mean it is comeing and will arrive tomorrow. or since it isnt a business day.idk it says estimates arriving time it tuesday. but could it come monday?

fedex tracking number says invalid why? i have a tracking number that microsoft provided to me for the turnaround of my 360 but i input the tracking number and it says invalid why could it be that the website hasnt updated their trackings..

Fedex ground tracking question? First off since it is sunday will there be trucks driving today? Not trucks in my town but the trucks that drive it across country. FedEx order tracking? I had ordered a new phone from my Cell phone company, with 2-day shipping from FedEx. I recieved an e-mail from the company that night with a tracking number. I live in CT and the packeged was shipped from TX. This is what it says when I track the package: Dec. 3, 2007 3:19 PM - Picked up at FT Worth, TX 4:17 PM - Package Data transmitted to FedEx 8:02 PM - Left Origin FT Worth, TX 8:11 PM - Arrived at FedEx Location Fort Worth, TX Dec. 4, 2007 12:32 AM - Departed FedEx Location FT Worth, TX 7:54 PM Arrived at FedEx Location NEWARK, NJ Dec. 5, 2007 12:25 PM Arrived at FedEx Location ...MEMPHIS,TN?????? It still says I will recieve my package by 7 p.m. on Dec. 5th, but Newark, NJ is Very close to where I live, and TN is like half-way back to where the package left from initially! Why would it be going backwards? Anyone know what this means?
