How can I mail stuff to Canada and not pay a fortune for it?
I am planning on moving to Canada and was thinking to mail some boxes. But the US post office rates are crazy. Is there a way to send it for a lower price?

- Unfortunately, no. If you mail using any of the other carriers like UPS, Fedex, or DHL, they charge a brokers fee for customs. It can be around 50 - 70 a box. I learned that the hard way. I find it easier to mail to Europe than to Canada.
- Try using the parcel service of Greyhound. Its very fast and safe. You will have to consult Canada Customs. They will advise you of the easier process of clearing the items as long as they are personal belongings.
