How long does it take to recieve snail mail that was forwarded?

I moved about five or six cities away and did a mail forward through the post office. How long would it take to recieve mail (snail mail) if it was forwded from a previous address? There was a card my Grandmother sent to me at my old address about week ago and I have not received it yet. Thanks in advance for your help.

1. Usually it takes about 2 weeks, sometimes a little longer.
