What is the difference between register mail and normal mail?
This is in the case where I order from online stores and they have the option of register or normal mail.

- to the end user, registered mail means the postman will send it to your doorstep & ask you to sign on a paper before he gives you the parcel. If you not at home they'll put a piece of paper on your door stating where you can collect it
- Registered mail is more expensive, and it's normally for a more important mail. Beside the mai will be sent to your doorstep, there will be a postal record with the post office. That's the reason why certain important mails, such as summon from the Government was sent via registered mail. Thus, there will be a postal evident that the mail was sent.

- registered mail is much more expensive then the normal mails as the post man will deliver the parcel/mail to ur doorstep n they requires ur signature or signature frm the one who receive the parcel/mail for u. If there is no one at home, the post man will leave a slip for u to inform u that they have deliver the parcel/mail to u while nobody is at home. den u take the slip to the post office to collect ur mail/parcel. normail mail is cheaper n if the mail was lost during deliver the post office or the sender will not be responsible.

- 1) normal mail is sent to the letterbox of the addressee - lost mail will not be accounted for. 2) registered mail has to be signed received by the addressee and/or person at the stated address. and if none acknowledges the mail, a notice will be served, and the addressee is to self-collect/ retrieve the registered mail at the post office as advised.
