why is microsoft word being used as my default e-mail client when using "send to"?

my mom's laptop started using microsoft word's e-mail client when selecting "send to mail recipient" when right-clicking on an image. it used to use outlook express, her regular e-mail client. she says it only started doing this recently and doesn't know what she did. my tech support is useless since i don't use this windows feature. how can i set it back so that outlook express becomes the default e-mail client for this?

1. Hi, I have the solution for that, go to the internet explorer --> right click --> properties --> programs tab --> in the email option, select Outlook and press apply. Regards
