Is it possible to set an e-mail client to preserve copies of my e-mails on POP3 server?

I've got a gmail e-mail account. Only POP3 (no IMAP) is provided. Is it possible to set Outlook to preserve copies of e-mails on the server, so that I can later acces it from another PC? Can this be done with other e-mail clients? Could be auto-forwarding to a server which provides IMAP the solution?

  1. All clients vary but 99% of them you can set the 'Leave A Copy' of the message on the server so you can download them later. Just look around in the options.
  2. HI! if u r using outlook u can configure it to receive emails. When u send/receive using outlook the mails will be saved on the computer. Remember outlook is configured on a particular system. Hence all ur emails will be saved only on that comp. Preserving on the server may not be possible. Once u run outlook it will get all the messages in the mailbox and put it on the comp. U can later resend the message to another id to another comp. Mail me if u need further help.
