- I have used outlook for years and have had no problems. Some people complain because it is fallible to spam and viruses but then again, most people aint got a clue about how they get them! I use two e mail clients, outlook for my private stuff, and yahoo which is called a web based server. When I visit a site and need to provide e mail info they get yahoo, this keeps crap out of my system. Yahoo also has some pretty good spam and virus filters for a free e mail account.
- I liked Outlook Express until it died on me by failing to send e-mail with no explanation why and many repair attempts later. I have not tried another; I use Yahoo as my main e-address and the same thing with Comcast. I hate Comcast, but it is the only choice I have in my area for high speed ISP, and it is not so fast sometimes. I can receive all of my e-mail on the web that way and it is safe for my computer.
- I have been using Mozilla Thunderbird for quite a while now. I have used Outlook express and Eudora earlier, but I find Thunderbird is the best so far. It's easy to setup and use and has got better features than the OE.
- I have used Outlook Express and The Bat! The second one is much better. But I use Outlook Express on that computers, where I can not use The Bat!
