Must I have Yahoo mail plus to use e-mail client program (Thunderbird) for my @yahoo account?

I can't configure my account to be used by thunderbird. How can I do it?

2. About The Webmail extension integrates web site based email accounts in to Mozllia Thunderbird, this allows Thunderbird to download and to send emails using the web site. Currently Yahoo, Hotmail, Lycos (Europe), MailDotCom, Gmail, Libero, and AOL domains are supported.

4. i just got past this same problem. the above answer is correct, you must download the webmail extension as well as the ypops! extension. you dont need yahoo! mail plus.
