Hello! I set up my Thunderbird after... months, years?... of non-use, and it worked fine... for about a week. I can still view emails, and it updates regularly, but I can't send e-mails from it. The error message reads: "Sending of message failed. The message could not be sent because connecting to SMTP server imap.aim.com failed. The server may be unavailable or is refusing SMTP connections. Please verify that your SMTP server setting is correct and try again, or else contact your network administrator." I use AIM's e-mail service... are they making this outsourcing to Thunderbird or Outlook a paid service like Yahoo did now? Any help, WHATSOEVER that you can offer would be FANTASTIC. Thanks! By the way, Thunderbird is like Microsoft Outlook, only it's a Mozilla open-source... thingie. Thunderbird is to Outlook like Firefox is to Internet Explorer. It worked well sending messages for about a week.
