OMG! Postal Rates going up again....were you aware of this?

Yes, starting tomorrow Monday May 14 the government takes another bite out of our wallet. THE HEADLINE: Americans will pay 2 cents more to mail a first-class letter beginning May 14, but they will be able to buy a new type of stamp that could shield them from future price increases. Until I was reminded this morning by reading the news article, I had my mail ready to go with the OLD postage of 39 cents. (then I had to go hunting for some 1 cent stamps I know I had stashed...somewhere)

No kidding...........I have known about it since January. When the postal service said due to rising gas prices and health benefits and operating costs prices would raise in mid-May.
Thats right another bite, with all we pay now I see no end to this madness. This summer gas will be $4.00 a gallon, I noticed food is up. Where I live no one goes anywhere, they stay inside like me. Stamps lol they also have put restrictions on alot of different mail to. Is my pay ck going up.....are you kidding only the taxes. By the way its not 2cents its 5 or 7
Yep, I heard this a few months ago.
YES, I heard that on CNN and about passed out. I think they called this stamp the "forever" stamp, whatever the hell that means, surely the government wouldn't make a stamp that the price would never go up again. I'll believe it when I see it.
Actually, this is something I've known about for a couple months now. I knew they said an increase was coming because of the high gasoline prices.
guess those Star Wars endorsements and the decrease of workload cause of email, fax, cell phones/text messaging, im and the like still cant cover the cost of their -------<fill in the blank>
