is there a postal strike again today.....?

waiting for 2 important parcels and they should have arrived today at the latest. nobody in the village has had deliveries and I can't find anything about it on the news!

1. I didnt think so but i didnt get any mail either. It is so annoying when you are waiting on parcels coming isnt it !
2. Not today, there was on Thursday so thats caused a backlog and theres another on Monday 30th. Then the 7th & 8th August are the nxt ones
3. I never got any post today...... i know they were meant to be striking, but when I am not sure..... Normally on Saturday I have loads of bills come in... And this morning none...bliss.... Sorry your parcel never came tho
4. Yes, the delivery offices are out on strike today. there is another one on Tuesday.
5. yes they are. my brother in law is a postman and he said this morning hes not in work because they are striking

9. i had a 1st class letter came to me on monday, which was posted on thursday, i thought that was bad, and the letter was in uk anyway, i didnt have any mail today :(

14. Um, folks - NOBODY got any mail today, apart from some of the people who were expecting parcels by Special Delivery. Here's the exact answer from Royal Mail: "Delivery and Collection services will not be available on Saturday 28th July. Collections on Saturday 28th July will be limited to a single collection from Post Boxes outside of Post Offices and these collections may be earlier than the normal advertised times. We will do all we can to deliver Special Delivery items, but Special Delivery Saturday guarantee will be suspended for Saturday 28th July. "
15. I didn't know about that, I'm waiting for some things, and I just posted an important letter. So we won't get post until Tuesday? That is ridiculous.
