Does the OCSE monitor elections in this country (U.K.) and if so what did they say about the postal voting ...
... fraud allegations in Birmingham some time back - http://www.timesonline.co.uk/tol/news/uk/article377468.ece Could the OSCE call an election null and void if fraud had taken place? I just read this article about the Polish Polls and wondered about this country too and the OSCE - http://news.bbc.co.uk/1/hi/world/europe/7008373.stm

- um whats the OSCE?
- may be they could ,maybe they couldn't, who knows or cares
- Banana republic they said. Which is nonsense we are not a republic!
- The OCSE were invited to monitor the elections to the Welsh Assembly in 2007 (at the invitation of the outgoing Assembly Government) and found no irregulaties at all. The OCSE can only monitor an election if the government involved allows them to monitor it. That means that they just cannot enter a country to monitor an election whether they feel like it.
