- for now, yes
- NO, except more grumpy people on unofficial strikes
- I have heard they are going to do 'wildcat strikes' They sound like fun!
- I hope they dont so they can leanr that making innocent peoples lives a mess by not doing the job that we pay them to do (how many of us now have delayed mail which we actually paid full price for!) wont get them anywhere. Who knows, they may even all get fired by the government who banned the next proposed strike action, and we'll get in a whole new bigger and more efficient team who do the job right!
- Had nothing to do whatsoever with the legal action that would've been brought either I'm guessing
- In a way I hope not - its nice not to get Bills delivered every day :-)
- I dont know! eh? Its crazy isn't it? The price goes up and the service goes down Par for the course in GB these days............
- Thats good then because i work there, all i can say is about time!
- Compared to a lot of other places in the world, the cost of mailing a letter is far cheaper, and, our system is probably the most reliable in the world. 41 cents for a stamp is dirt cheap actually. And no, I am not a postal employee. I am not affiliated with the postal service, nor am I related to anyone in the postal service. You will pay up to $2.00 for a bottle of WATER but gripe about a stamp?
- they can stay on strike for all I care. I dont get any bills and its great!
- No.
- If we had Mrs Thatcher in power this strike would have been over days ago. But I bet I don't get 10 points for this, probably a load of thumbs down
- if royal mail wasn't so greedy we wouldn't be in thsi situation. if workers were treated properly and with respect then they wouldn't strike and we wouldn't suffer
- if this is the end.well done to all the posties that have the guts to defend themselves.unlike those people who have no nerve to strike, you know the people who say we should sack them they are lazy, there no good .well i say to them people ,unless you stick up for yourselves people will always walk over you.anyway they were only on strike to save there pensions and the post office and the service to the public.trouble a lot of people take it for granted, and have no idea what would happen if it fell apart.well it would always go up in pounds not pence.but the trouble alot of people believe what they see on the TV and read the papers.feel; abit sorry for them really as they have no idea about the world around them.so they just repeat what they see on the TV.i am afraid they can not think of themselves.these are the people with no guts to stand up for themselves, and you could not rely on these people for anything never mine striking....
- I hope you are right! D'you know Elvis, before the strike, my mail was never delivered before mid-day - except on a Saturday! When he always managed to get here before 10am! I wonder why!!!
