taking someone to small claim-es and want to garnish can you garnish an ex postal workers disability chec?

she ran up a $3000 bill on cell phone and it was in my name so i had to pay it , i havent seen a penny in a year any ideas?

2. Bruce, You might have a hard time with small claims. It would be easy for a judge to say that you let her/him use the phone. Did you turn the phone in as stolen? You can't garnish disability. However, call the sheriff's department civil section and see of you can re posses their belongs. In my state you have to go through the sheriff's department to garnish,
