What does "acceptance" next to the status in United States Postal Service means?
I am expecting a package from Auburn, Massachusetts and when I checked the tracking number online. It says that it was sent to Worcester, Ma and the status says "acceptance". So what does that mean? Does that mean it was sent to the wrong address and someone else signed and took it?

- Worcester is probably the main sorting center. As long as it doesn't say delivered, it is still on its way to you.
- It means it arrived at Worcester, they scanned it and have it ready to continue on its journey to you
