Postal Letter

How do I file a general complaint on my local United States Postal Service and to whom do I file it with?

We ordered a dryer part on line and had it shipped priority so we would get it faster. The shipping company got it to the P.O. on time. The P.O. never notified us that we had a package. After 5 days (including the weekend) my husband asked the clerk. What was the use in spending the extra money to ship it priority when you can't depend on getting it delivered in a timely fashion.

  1. If you're smart you'll stick it waaaay up there. Send it to Washington D.C.
  2. Unfortunately, the situation you describe has become standard operating procedure for the USPS. I try to avoid them at all costs and use FedEx whenever possible!!
  3. File complaints with the Post Master General.
  4. From Experience, you just get angrier and thell offer a few dollows for postage MAYBE. The dont care- put it behind you and finf somethin better to do-
  5. File it with the Post Master General, and in your letter demand a refund for the extra postage. When you have a demand in writing, your letter will be read and answered rather than ignored. Make sure to give them a deadline for response.
