Postal Letter

What happens to items mailed in the united states postal service that never reach their destination???

And never get returned to sender as well.......

1. They get sent to a postal recovery center (main post office) and kept there till someone claims them.
2. Stolen, or lost in a truck fire accident, or flew out the window or if the back door of the truck was left open, or it was mistaken for trash and tossed away, something like that.
