2. Call the main post office there and ask when they administer the civil service exam and what else you need to do to apply. There is a kind of point system, I've heard, for the post office. Like veterans get preference or minorities. Good luck!
3. You cannot apply for the position,you actually have to take the test. You start by going to the main Post Office and ask for the HR department, Let them know that you want to sign up to take the test and if you are a Veteran then let them know because Veterans have first priority. If you are not a Vet then it might be a problem but you can apply for the rural carrier position and there is a greater chance you can get that job and keep pushing for the City Carrier position anyway.
