  1. It all really depends on the terms that it was shipped. Most things that you buy online are usually delivered to your door and all the fees are paid up front. The only time you have to pay to pick something up is if you pay for it COD (cash on delivery) which most companies don't do anymore. I would suggest reading over whatever invoice you have from whereever you purchased the item and it should give you the details you're looking for. If you are in fact picking it up at the post office I would just be sure that you bring an ID card in case they ask you to sign for it.
  2. Nope. Just have the slip they left for you to make your life easier. (the one that says your package is at the PO)
  3. Not unless it was sent COD or has postage due. If you go to the PO and it is postage due, sent first class you have the right to refuse the article. You have the right to refuse any first class mail as long as you DO NOT open it. If it is "standard" mail, it does no good to refuse it because it is not returnable (unless it has a special "endorsement" such as "return postage guaranteed")
  4. No just go and pick it up. the only way they ship COD (Cash on delivery) is to a business of somekind. If you are picking it up at the post office then no you will not have to pay. Just go pick it up.
  5. I'll need more info - such as what did you buy on line and was it from the USPS website? boxes, tape, gifts? Have you already paid for the item(s). Most of this stuff is delivered right to your door by your postal carrier and the postage was already included in the cost.
