If I applied for a change of address in the Postal Office, will it redirect all my mails?
I moved in with my friend 2weeks ago and it did not work out, so I had to move again. I am new to this State, so I applied for a new license in the DMV, I am supposed to receive my license this week. Will I be receiving it in my new address? I know I have to change my address in the office soon. It's just that I don't want my former friend to receive it.

- There is no such word as 'mails'. The word 'mail' is both singular and plural, like the word 'sheep'. .
- All of your first and second class mail will be forwarded to your new address. That means first class letters and magazines. The first class letters will be forwarded for a year while the second class will only be forwarded for 3 months. If your drivers license was made out with you new address it will only go to your new address.
- yes, all your mail will be redirected to your new address. you may also inform your friend to inform the bearer of your mail to redirect the same in your new address.
