USPS shipping DISASTER!!!?

Help! today a hour ago i just dropped off a package at the post office... i accidentally put EVERYTHING EXCEPT the city and state.. i put the name, address, zip code, mailbox number. but accidentally forgot to put the city, and state. just now i checked my receipt, and it has the city and state on the receipt. but i didnt put it on the package. ALSO very important to know, i put the same address as both sender and recipient's. because im shipping the item to my house in chicago, im in a different state for business. will they ship it as long as the school address, name, and zip code is on it?

  1. The zip code tells them the city and state. You can actually mail a package with just the name and Zip+4 and most of the time it will arrive.
  2. Your fine. Zip codes are only in 1 location, so forgetting the city and state isn't that big of a deal. Yes, they will send it even if you are the shipper and receiver. I did that with several of my items when I returned from S.Korea (military). There were just some items I wasn't going to wait 6+ weeks to have delivered and mailing it got it to me in 7 days. Wait it out, you'll see that everything will be fine.
  3. calm down, it will be just fine..
  4. as long as you put the zip code and the name of the receiver, your package will be sent. 99% chance it will be sent.
