any idea what self-employed courier work pays?(van delivery)?

Public Comments

  1. min wage
  2. In the area I live, it's about £450-£500 per week. But don't forget, you will have to pay income tax, National Insurance, vehicle maintenance costs, fuel, road tax, vehicle insurance, accident repairs and goods in transit insurance out of that...
  3. What do you plan to charge?
  4. Depends on the type of courier business you are thinking of, I used to get 90p per drop from a catalogue company, but unfortunately last week the area manageress demanded, by phone, an immediate alteration in deliveries which I was unable to agree to, as my vehicle was committed to another job that week, and so she took the contract away.
