  1. AND YOUR QUESTION IS ??????????????
  2. Put flyers in the local stores and at storage companys and dump sites (if you have them?). Drive around through areas where they are doing construction and/or renovations and introduce yourself and his service. Send mailings or go see local landscapers. You might even talk to furniture stores about delivery and disposal if his van is big enough. It sounds like a great idea - there are always people who need assistance in these areas due to time or vehicle restrictions.
  3. local shop windows are good cheap advertising places. could print some leaflets and deliver by hand. check out delivery firms, a lot get self employed drivers in now. one thing for him to watch out for, i know in this area, at skip and dumping yards vans are being watched and if they think you are working for a business they will ban you from using the yard. seems they want to restrict business drops to so many a year.
