Is there any mail delivery service in the US that can intercept international packages?

A friend of mine was recently scammed by Nigerians via email, and she had found out early on after she had sent the package containing an item she was selling on amazon. Unfortunately when she called her mail carrier, they were unable to intercept or redirect the international package. All she could do was watch as the package was delivered to Nigeria, and therefore losing a lot of money. After all, international shipping from the US to Nigeria is not cheap, and the package itself was worth $150. Please tell me if there is any delivery service that can intercept international packages so that we can avoid this problem in the future. Thank you!

1. There are no services that can do what you ask; that I know of. The best thing for your friend to do is not answer get rich quick emails. 99.99% of them are scams. Hers was a cheap lesson as others have been cheated out of thousands of dollars.
