Does anyone have pointers for starting a home delivery business?

Im interested in starting my own home delivery business delivering a variety of items. Basically anything you would find at Walmart. Does anyone know or think there is any money in it. If so what would be a good way to go about it? Thanks

2. Yes and no, I think at one time there was a good market, especially for the elderly but now with the Internet and shipping its less likely. That said the elderly tend not to be comfortable purchasing online, so you may find a niche for awhile.
