How much money does a mailman earn after being in the job for 17 years?

Ive been curious because my dad has been a mailman since i was 17 and for some weird reason he has a crap load of money and gives me a lot of money when he has the chance. He doesn't pay for rent or any expenses since he lives back with my grandma after him and my mom divorced. How much does mailmen earn per hour after working for as long as he did.
