How can I teach my dog to dislike the mailman?

She hasn't formed an opinion one way or the other about our mail carrier:) OKAY, it was a joke!

U do not teach a dog to dislike anything!!! WHY would you even thank to do this?? You do not need a dog if this is all you have to thank about teaching it!
Why would you want to teach your dog to dislike the mailman? Do you not like getting mail? Do you want to get in trouble with th post office? "I didn't get it because my dog keeps the mailman away" is no excuse for not paying the bills, if that's what you're thinking.
Have her stand in endless lines at the post office. If that does not make her angry at the entire postal service nothing will.
why would you want her to dislike the mailman? thats just goin to be a big hassel because then she'll bark and go crazy everytime they come to your house, which will be a daily thing, my old dog, i guess could sence when he was coming and would run back and forth to both gates barking and growling for about a half hour.
You would get in legal trouble if the dog actually bites people.
If you succeed in this you might want to retain a very good lawyer and ascertain that your dog is current on his shots.
when the mail man comes in to the yard, run out and smack the holy shit out of him with raw steak then the mail man will hit you for hitting him with steak ur dog will prob attack because the mailman hit you and he smells like hes been bitch slapped with steak
you cant really, its mostly because the dog doesnt like the smell, he is either offended or scared...... sometimes spraying the dog with a spray bottle of water will teach him to calm down when you squirt him at the time he acts up.... once you get him used to that he will think before he reacts..... but it doesnt always work with all dogs because all dogs are different...... if that doesnt work then probebly nothing will.
wh would you want to do that.. dogs cant differentiate between who people are but see the posty coming up the drive, them seeing them off barking and when postie walks away they see it as a job well done cos they have seen that person off. The dog is actually learning the luminous jackets means someone they dont want to let enter their property. Seems unimportant enough but then you have problems like our neighbour has with hers, any workmen in luminous jackets her dog goes for, has nipped and also when she recently became quite poorly before ringing emergency serives first she had to call me to ask me to put her dog out to allow paramedics into the house as they also have these luminous jackets, my advice is to walk your dog and see if your post man will stroke your dog and let your dog get aquainted with different people!!!! a dog will protect your home instinctively if it is in his breed but dont encourage it with negative behaviour
well when the mailman comes try to give him a treat that ur dog likes so when the dog comes the mailman can show it to the dog and he will know he is a good guy!
have the mail carrier mace your dog, she'll hate him/her for sure!! worked for mine!
I hate it when people reply with their own smart marks and yet still don't answer the question. You know how stupid you look? Anyways you can take him to a obedient school that can help you teach your dog to be aggressive. Actually they will teach it a command and you simply speak it the dog goes after it. Police dogs are a good example of this.

Tell your dog "attack attack" then he will run and bite him and definetly wont like him. Then when the mailman goes to the hospital and calls animal services they'll come by and take your dog away then your dog will dislike you too.
