Can I get the mailman to not ring the doorbell with priority mail?

They always ring the doorbell when priority mail is being delivered, and long story short, i cant have them ring it lol. is there a way he can leave package and not ring it?

1. Disconnect the bell.
2. SPEAK TO YOUR MAIL CARRIER AND MAKE ARRANGEMENTS TO FORWARD THE PACKAGE TO THE POST OFFICE FOR PICKUP
3. Put a note on the door saying "sleeping, please don't ring bell" or what ever the reason might be. I did this when my baby used to sleep in a room right near the front door. It worked.
4. He is required to ring the bell or knock on the door. The only way to stop it is to have all priority mail sent to a PO box. (or disconnect the doorbell.)
5. Leave him a note. This should stop it.
6. Put a sign on your bell that says broken or disconnect your doorbell.
