why doesnt my fedex tracking number work online?

i tried to track my shipment and it said it was not found. i called the place and they said it was on route monday morning..i was supposed to get it tueday but today nothing came...what is going on?

1. I have used Fed Ex tracking on line several times and if you have true tracking number you will be able to track your shipment in detail. I would suggest getting back with the company that your shipment is coming from and verify the tracking number. If you still don't have any luck then call Fed Ex directly at 1-800-gofedex they will be able to tell you if it is a legit tracking number or not. Good Luck
