Does Fedex Ground ever update there tracking information online? When?

Does Fedex ever update their system? I ordered a package and the shipping details were submitted on Tuesday at 12:10am. It is now Wednesday at 10:00am in the morning. That is a full day, it still says it hasnt even been picked up yet? Is there something about fedex ground? Is it slower tracking update? Thanks!

1. well i know they get scanned when they arrive at the terminal and when they are loaded on the truck by the loaders then when the driver attempts the delivery and the system is updated hourly the only thing i can think is it was scanned by the terminal and it didn't go out got scanned by the terminal but not onto a truck
