fedex tracking number says invalid why?

i have a tracking number that microsoft provided to me for the turnaround of my 360 but i input the tracking number and it says invalid why could it be that the website hasnt updated their trackings..

1. it may be too soon to check the tracking number, check again at the end of the day
2. It takes a day or so for the tracking # to be in the system. Check again tomorrow.
3. either that or they gave up the wrong #...give them a call and tell them. 1-800-gofedex
4. I see those darn things all the time, Im a courier. Its quite possible, microsoft has completed the data processing on the ticket but hasn't actually been boxed and labeled yet. The tracking number is sitting in a data table waiting to go 'live'. Tracking numbers are pretty instant, it doesn't take 24 hours, blah. I perform a dex03 (bad address) and it shows up online right away. Gotta love those satellites. You have to be home though, we can't release those xboxs, microsoft has performed a DSR on them. Direct signature requested which means you dont have to sign, but someone at your residence does, we cant give to neighbor either and tag your house with location. Dont worry though, we try three times and or you can pick up from station after first attempt with doortag we provide.
