How long would it take something to come from CA to NC by FedEx ground?

It departed Sacramento CA on July 2. How long should it take to get to NC? Also since its the 4th of July would there still be people out driving the FedEx trucks today?

1. About a week, not including weekends and holidays. Officially about 5 business days, give or take. Your package departed on 7/2, traveled to wherever it ended up on the afternoon/evening of 7/3, and has been sitting at that site and will stay there until Monday morning. So five days for you would be the 10th, but that's an estimated time, not guaranteed like overnight or 2-day packages would be. There is some driving on Saturdays, but definitely not on Independence Day.
