Does Fedex Ground Deliver On Saturdays?

I ordered an iPod from the Apple store on Tuesday(5/6). Now on the Fedex website it says its in transit now(as of 5/8). It is now Friday(5/9) and it says that its scheduled to come 5/10...which is a saturday. But I thought Fedex ground doesnt deliver Saturdays? Or do they?

1. FedEx delivers on Saturdays if that service is requested. Usually it is an extra fee to get Saturday delivery. The only Exception is FedEx HomeDelivery which delivers any day of the week except Saturdays, Sundays and Mondays.
2. Yes, but it costs more.
