does fedex ground shipping come back?

i ordered a package from fedex and i missed the delivery, will the fedex ground truck come back? or does that not happen? srry is this is in the wrong catogory

1. They will make several attempts. You can call them with your tracking number and they will hold it at the office so you can drop by. Around here, they have it back at the office at 6:30pm
2. well if they didnt give it to a niehbor or leave a note stuck on the door. call they can track it for you. And they will come back if no one got it for you.
