Can I drop the Fedex ground package (return) in the Fedex drop off box?

4. NO... absolutely not. I wish you could... I ship a lot of stuff thru Fedex Ground. The Fedex ground is different than Fedex Express. Go and check their website.
5. No. Can't leave Ground in the Express drop off box. Not sure what happens if you do by accident however. Need to leave at FedEx auth center that takes Ground Packages, call for pickup, or hunt down a Ground or Home Delivery delivery driver. Most cities also have a FedEx location (called a ramp in FedEx lingo) at the airport and these are staffed by FedEx folks.
