1. No. I don't believe so.
2. FedEx as a whole is not a union company, however there are some groups of employees within the various FedEx companies that are union members. FedEx Express pilots are members of the ALPA union. Since FedEx Freight was once Viking and American Freighways, their drivers may be Teamsters from before the transfer to FedEx. FedEx Ground drivers are contract employees who have rights to a territory.
