What kinds of jobs are available without citizenship in the US?

My husband has been looking for a good paying job for over a week now. Most of them require US citizenship. The best ones seem to be with delivery services, like UPS, DHL, USPS, etc. But what are his other options? He has work permit, drivers license, speaks several languages fluently. Most places that hire linguists require education in language or translation. What to do? (He needs a job quick) Thank You in advance!! He HAS a work permit. Thank you for the advice. And he is a "legal alien". He has a greencard and SS#.

1. Yeah, he's not going to get a delivery job without a US citizenship. Make sure he can get registered as a Legal Alien so that he can actually get a job here.
2. Try temp agencies. You may have to try several. You say he speaks several languages -- he will need certification to prove it for the non-Native languages (for instance, if he's a non-Native Spanish speaker, he will need the DELE).
3. It is better that he either acquires a citizenship or a work permit !!
