Hauling water to the moon and mars? Any carriers?
Is there a cheaper alternative than the Russian Energia/ Buran spaceship? I have been negotiating with them to haul freight (water, grass and soil, seed, etc.) but their price range is astronomical. Is there something akin to a Space Fedex or Space U-Haul at cheaper rates?

- no cheaper rates, yet. It costs roughly 1 thousand dollars to get 1 pound into space. By comparison, it takes Allied Movers about 1 dollar to move 1 hundred ( maybe it is 1 thousand pounds) on earth. ==================== "harvesting" icy comets, and aiming them into the Mars atmosphere might be a lot cheaper. For the moon? i have no good answers - since the moon has no atmosphere, even if you drop icy comets on the moon, the water and vapor will escape.
- Keep negotiating, buddy. I'm glad you have something to do with your time. How ridiculous can you get?
- The Earth is a closed environment--much like a fishbowl, it just fills up with water unless some of it is removed. All the islands (PR, Haiti, Hawaii, Aruba, etc.) will sink gradually as the water levels rise. Unfortunately most people are not aware that Water and CO2 are the main byproducts of human and animal RESPIRATION. This means that the more you eat and work, exercise or do just about anything, the more water and co2 you add to the atmosphere; water and co2 are also the main byproducts of fossil fuel combustion (propane, butane, gasoline and jet fuels). Think about this carefully and what the implications are. Indeed, we must write to all the Space Agencies in the world to immediately begin transporting water to the moon and Mars, and eventually to the 169 moons in our Solar System.
