How long should it take to send a letter from Illinois to Minnesota with normal USPS service?

I sent a letter containing a money order to an eBay seller on Wedensday morning. Considering that USPS did not deliver on Thursday, when should I expect the person to receive the letter? -Is tomorrow (Saturday) possible? -How long does it regularly take a letter to arrive? Thanks much to everyone who responds.

2. usually takes 2 days. may arrive on saturday, sunday at the most.
3. Depending on the services you use. Normally give it two business days, but no longer than three. It cost more for next day service. Say you shipped it Thursday, it will get there early Monday. There is usually a fee for them to deliver on the weekends.
