Postal Letter

How do postal workers keep from going crazy? Does the USPS have training on how to deal with a job that?

there is never a sense of accomplishment? Do they have it in the manual or training not to hurry? Im not being smart. I know I'd go nuts if I worked there since I hurry or try to hurry. If it never ended, it'd drive me nuts. How do they inspire people pacing themselves?

  1. The Post Office is a very unique environment that does cause its employees to go crazy or more appropriately 'going postal'. There is never an end to the mail so there is no sence of accomplishment. Some employees drink to deal with the situation. My supervisor got a DUI leaving the parking lot of work one day. Also the hollow walls with the 2 way mirrors freaks some parinoid employees out. Hang in there because the benefits and pay are much better than most jobs out there.
  2. real bad environment. They send people to spy on the mail carriers occasionally, so they're always paranoid. And as newman says, the mail just never stops.
  3. Ever heard the expression going postal? Enough said.
