How long does FEDEX take to ship something?

Ok I order something from dell and they are shipping my customized computer via Fedex ground shipping. That status when I was tracking was "en route" and the latest event was that it left FEDEX office. How long would it take to reach my house?

1. Likely 3 business days unless otherwise stated.
2. The shipping time depends on the distance from Dell's plant to your house. If you're in Texas, the distance and time it takes to move is a lot less than if you're in Massachusetts. Ground shipping to a place a long way from Dell could take 5 business days -- that means weekends don't count -- or sometimes longer. You may want to ask offices in your area (your dentist, a book shop owner) how long it takes to get something via FedEx ground.
3. If you track the shipment on FedEx.com, the system will give you the "expected" delivery date. Should be in the upper left hand corner of the tacking information.
