What happens when you ship something by fedex to and area that doesnt have a fedex office?

I shipped something by fedex and then went on the internet and noticed there are no fedex locations for 150 miles of destination. what will happen to the package if a first attempt is made and no one is there do they make a second attempt

1. The package goes to the address you put on it, regardless or how far away an office is.
2. It should still be delivered - it will just take a while.
3. it enters the twilight zone
4. it should come back to you
5. They have agreements with other carriers
6. well we deliver to the address on the package -in some cases (like like rural Alaska FedEx turns the package over to the postal service for finally delivery) it doesn't matter if t there is no FedEx offices nearby it will still come to you
