How long does it take the US Postal Service to deliver a letter?

I want to send a letter from zip 89108 to zip 97302, and have it delivered exactly on Monday, March 12. When should I mail it out?

1. I don't know if you can have it delivered on an exact date. Usually a regular first-class letter would take 3 days between those 2 ZIP codes, Priority Mail would take 2 days, and Express Mail would be overnighted.
2. go to your local post office and ask them , get it from the horse's mouth
3. best suggestion is to send it express mail just mail it on March 11 and it should get there the next day or course you could use fedex they also guaranteed next day delivery
