what is a good virus protection for mac os x?

I have a macbook 2.4 ghz and 2 gigs of ram running os x. I was wondering what a good virus protection program would be or if i even need one.

1. You don't need one.... it's a Mac But should you want the annoyance and cost.... you can get Norton AntiVirus

3. You don't need one. The only reason you would is if you are running Windows on it, using something like Parallels or Bootcamp, and even then, you would install an anti-virus in Windows. I have had students that had issues with their Macs after installing Norton Anti-virus on their system. see the link for details.
