if i shipped a package from usps and its the wrong address thats been shipped can i still change the address?

even when it left the usps store becuase i made the biggest mistake ever.i sold somthing from ebay vary high cost and shipped it to the wrong address im panic-ing about this i dont feel well and , im scared and the buyer payed me already and i shipped it to the wrong address what can i do,i still have the reciept with me i called usps but there closed what do you know about this type of things PLEASE HELP IM BEGGING ! it already delivered its on its way to the wrong hands.god help!

1. Call UPS as soon as it opens.
2. Just call first thing in the morning maybe they will retrieve the package for you but their responsibility does NOT include doing even that, they deliverd it to the address that was on the package. You will also need to notify the buyer first thing as well and start figuring out how to get their money back as soon as possible if you get no cooperation from the person it WAS delivered to. Hint there are a few good people left and maybe the person it was delivered to is one of them. GOOD LUCK!
3. Are you contacting the UPS store or UPS? There is a BIG difference. Call 1-800-PICK UPS and give them the tracking number. If it is in route, they should be able to catch it before it is delivered. If you look your package up online at ups.com and find it has already been delivered, it may be too late. If tracking says it is in route, you have some time. Especially since it is a holiday weekend and UPS does not deliver on Monday.
