Changing Mailing Address with USPS?

I currently live in a shared house with 3 roommates. Everybody has a common mailbox. Now, i am moving to my own apartment and would like to know that if I fill out a change of address form, will everybody's mail be forwarded or just mine? Thanks

  1. No. The change of address form will only affect the named person.
  2. no. just your own mail. you do this online with $1 fee... USPS will be asking for your credit card billing address. whereas, if you go to your nearest Post office, you can fill up a form and it'll be free...
  3. You MUST be very careful and be sure that you check off the box that indicates that you are making an "Individual" COA. If you don't, then all mail addressed to that address will be forwarded to your new address. If, some of your mail does get through, your roommates can simplt line out the old address and write your new address. This will work with any of the First Class Mail.
