Postal Letter

I have sent my Parcel through Expess Mail International to INDIA from USPS (united states Postal Office)?

Now my status is : Out of Foreign customs.( on May 9th 2008) details is : item is cleared by INDIA customs.(mumbai).My question is that mean my parcel is surely going to reach destination address (in Hyderabad). If yes, how many days does it take ?. what is the reason behind that customs took nearly 15 days to clear my parcel?

1. Yes your parcel will get shipped. Sometimes customs get busy and they just don't have time to look at packages. It should take 2 to 3 days depending on which way you sent it.
2. You should be able to track your item through the India Post website. There is no way to tell how long it will take. It is an expedited servcie so it should be fairly quick. Nobody can explain why the Customs agents do what they do. All I do know is that you can't put a rush on clearance through them.
